Friends of Pittville was established in September 2006 to support a bid to the Heritage Lottery Fund for the restoration of Pittville Park and Estate. As part of the bid we carried out a survey of our members to establish their priorities for the park and estate, and consulted the public through our website and newsletter.
Although the bid was unsuccessful, the work done for the submission provided a detailed assessment of the park and estate and led to the creation of an Access Plan, an Audience Development Plan, a Conservation Management Plan, a Training Plan and a Maintenance Management Plan.
