The new play area in Pittville Park will be officially opened on Sunday 17 July.
Music, circus skills, Punch & Judy and magic are just some of the things lined up for a fun-packed afternoon from 12 noon onwards.
The fully refurbished aviaries will also re-open, with an improved environment for the animals.
The Mayor, Cllr Chris Ryder, will officially cut the ribbon in front of special guests just before the entertainment begins.
