Regency Town House

The Pittville History Works group has organised a day trip to visit the Brunswick estate and the Regency Town House project in Hove on Thursday 11 August, with the aim of widening our horizons and sharing information with this project whose history has many parallels with Pittville’s.

The coach will leave Pittville at 8.30 am and arrive in Hove by 12 noon, with a stop for coffee en route. On arrival we will have lunch at the Regency Town House at 13 Brunswick Square and an introduction to their projects – including MyHouseMyStreet, which is very similar to the census work we have been doing in Pittville. After lunch there will be a guided tour of the town house itself, which is currently being restored by a group of volunteers, and a self-guided Brunswick Town walk. We will leave around 4.30 pm and should be back in Pittville by 8.00 pm.

The cost for the trip, including coffee and lunch, is £40. Please email us at info@pittvillehistory.org.uk by 15 July if you’d like to come.
