Our trustees and committee members
David Kay – Honorary Chairman
David is a relatively new resident of Cheltenham, having moved here in April 2023 from the Isle of Man, where he and his wife Caroline have lived for the past 28 years.
However they are no strangers to the area, having been frequent visitors over the last 12 years, so that when it came to relocating for family reasons, Cheltenham, and Pittville in particular, was the preferred option. David and Caroline are both Chartered Architects by profession and he also has had extensive experience in voluntary organisations having served as chair of a Residents Association on the IoM. He hopes this together with his professional experience and training will be of service to the Friends of Pittville moving forward.
Sacha K – Honorary Secretary
Newly resident in Cheltenham as a homeowner, Sacha is returning to this area where she spent her school years. She now works in Business Development, a job the takes her traveling all over the world. Sacha is looking forward to settling in one spot and putting down some roots. Enjoying Pittville Park with her dog, Sacha hopes to contribute positively to the area as a trustee of Friends of Pittville.
Sarah de Buriatte – Honorary Treasurer
Sarah, Chris, various grown up children and Ting the Jack Russell, moved to Pittville Lawn in 2019 from Burford and have spent a lovely couple of years using some unexpected time at home to explore Cheltenham.
Sarah comes with a background in Bookkeeping, HR and training. For the last 14 years she has looked after all aspects of accounts for a successful software development company based in Oxfordshire. At various times she has also co run a local art class, ‘silver trained’ in technology skills and assisted in various community projects, including the development of a solar farm and the expansion of a very successful beer festival. The family really enjoy living in Cheltenham and feel especially grateful to have beautiful Pittville Park on the doorstep.
Janina Kay – Membership Secretary
Janina has had a home in Cheltenham for eleven years, and is now a full time resident . She has managed property portfolios and run an interior design and project management company in central London. Over the last five years she has set up and operated a proactive Neighbourhood Watch Group in Clarence Square which has helped to generate a positive community spirit.

She also had a part time post for 5 years in sales support for Hamptons Estate Agency in Cheltenham.
Henry Williams
Henry was born in Pittville and has lived here his whole life. He was a fireman for thirty years and also ran his own property maintenance firm; his previous voluntary activities include the Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade at St Paul’s Church. He enjoys local history, walking into town through the park, and making things with his hands.
John Holloway
John, a native of Bristol, moved to Pittville in February 2021, after living in London for many years. He is delighted to become a trustee as he loves the beauty and historic interest of the area the FoP was created to nurture. His work background has been in Marketing and Fundraising for predominantly not-for-profit organisations in the UK and abroad. He still works as a self-employed Management Consultant and Communications Skills Coach. Experience he hopes will prove valuable to FoP.
