Could you be our next Membership Coordinator?

Following our recent AGM we have a keen, very willing and even more able committee. With just one missing Trustee.

After a long and dedicated run our membership coordinator has retired and we now need to find a replacement. This is a key position in the committee but need not be too onerous in terms of time. You would be a participating trustee in the wider committee with specific responsibility for looking after our members, welcoming new members and managing the annual renewal process. This means that the bulk of time and effort is around the annual renewal at the end of September every year. Throughout the year there may be new joiners and of course some leavers. This is largely an admin role with membership being managed via a spreadsheet-based database. The skills needed are therefore (and probably in order of importance), excellent written and in-person communication skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with basic spreadsheet programs. You would need to liaise regularly with me, the Treasurer; it is very much a team role.  We are an enthusiastic and friendly bunch.
