We are delighted to announce that FoP members Julian Tooke and Oggy Boytchev have once again, very generously agreed to host an evening in the garden of their house to help fundraise for us. The evening will comprise a couple of glasses of wine, some canapés and local entertainers for your enjoyment.
Firstly, we are delighted to welcome back Steve Blake, our renowned local historian, who is coming to give us a talk entitled “The Sorry Tale of Pittville Parade”.
We have now confirmed that there will be two other strands to the gathering. Firstly returning by popular request last year’s musical duo The Mansfield Smiths, (vocals, guitar and double bass) will be preforming for your aural delight. Whilst they are entertaining you there will be ‘close-up magic’ happening to amaze you courtesy of the swift handed talents of Mr Ian Gray.
We recommend you book your spaces EARLY for this popular fundraising event – which are limited in number – because, if last year is anything to go by they will be snapped up quickly!
