CAN YOU SPARE 2 HOURS OF YOUR TIME?
We are delighted to report that we have, once again, been given permission to operate the Albemarle Gate car park during the Cheltenham Festival Week 2026 (10th to the 13th March*) to raise funds in support of the work of Friends of Pittville.
This has proven to be one of our main fund raising event across the years. All of the money raised goes to improve the park and it has meant we have been able to support projects like the sensory garden we created in the play area last year, and the steps in front of the pump room that were reinstated in 2023.
We are looking for volunteers to do a shift to help operate and look after the car park between 7am until 5.30pm on each of the days* the racing festival is held. Each shift would be between 1.5 and 2 hours long and there would always be two people present at any time. If you can spare any time during those four days* in March it would be much appreciated. Many members have helped in the past and enjoyed doing it.
