Philippa Howell has successfully coordinated the FoP plant sale in recent years but now that she is no longer a trustee, the task fell to others to put it together and run it. The weather was wonderful on the appointed day, 3 May, and although there were fewer nurseries than in previous years, stalls run by volunteers made up for this. The raffle was popular and all tickets were sold. So thanks to everyone who planned the event and turned out to help.
An added attraction this year was that Cheltenham Croquet Club held taster sessions for anyone who showed an interest in joining the club. They laid out a temporary lawn behind the scout hut and provided mallets, balls and information to those who took the opportunity to have a go.
The plant sale was a great success and raised a total of £732.90 for developments in the park.
