You are invited to the official opening of the Sensory Garden and the unveiling of the large carving that is part of it, which will be held in front of the aviaries at 10.30am on Tuesday 30 September. We hope many of the people involved in the project will be present at the event, where the unveiling will be performed by the Mayor of Cheltenham, Councillor Dr David Willingham. The event will be hosted by Friends of Pittville and will include short speeches from the Mayor and Chris Archibald, as well as a short explanation of the inspiration behind her carving from Natasha Houseago. It will be an informal event but do come along and chat to all those who have been involved in the project and meet our new Green Space Coordinator, Barbara Leigh.
