The Friends of Pittville Plant Sale was held on Sunday 2 May. As well as our own table, there were stalls from Cheltenham Horticultural Society, Malcolm Allison Plants and Steve Green Succulents. We are grateful to them and also to Gotherington Nurseries, who supplied us with a large quantity of bedding plants. Oggy Boytchev was on hand to talk about and sell his latest spy thriller, The Istanbul Connection, and a range of prizes was available on the tombola stall.
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped with preparation and on the day. Between us we raised £808, to be used towards projects in the park.
